How we handle information

Who we are

Afterlife Story Lab Ltd. Registered in England and Wales, company number 16957817. Registered office: Desklodge, Bristol BS1 4XE.

What we collect

We use Vercel Analytics and PostHog (EU) to see how people find and use this site. Both are set up to be cookieless: no cookies and no browser storage are used, so page views and interaction events cannot be tied back to you as a person. If you join our mailing list through MailerLite, we collect your email address. Sign-up is single opt-in and we keep a record of your consent. If you buy from the shop, your order is handled by Fourthwall under its own privacy policy. Where our sites embed an Acast player, Acast may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

Why we collect it

To understand how people find and use our sites, and to send the launch alerts and updates you asked for. We do not use it for anything else.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is kept for 12 months. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Lawful basis

We rely on your consent for the mailing list and on our legitimate interest in understanding how the sites are used for analytics.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see or delete the personal data we hold about you. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To use any of these rights, contact info@afterlifestorylab.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We do not sell your data.
